BG has been fortunate in terms of our home since relocating to Back Bay in 2012. We’ve never had to share our home with another soccer supporters club, and we’ve rarely if ever had to turn people away due to crowd size. Attendance is way up this season, partially due to increased distance from the depths of the Covid-19 pandemic. The obvious main reason, though, is Arsenal’s performance this season combined with the accompanying buzz.
However, we are faced with Dillon’s being smaller than Lir was, having a huge number of RSVPs (240 on capacity of 340 including patio), and this match is exclusively on Peacock.
As a result, there is a possibility Dillon’s will reach capacity prior to kick-off. Thanks to all who RSVPed, however we must note that RSVPs are not reservations.
Doors open at 10a. Please avoid congregating outside of Dillon’s prior to 9.45a.
Early arrival highly suggested. Consider your options if you’re unable to arrive prior to 11a.
Since this match is streaming-only, we cannot designate anywhere nearby for overflow.
Please be very patient if planning to order food. Staff won’t have much room to maneuver.
Those who RSVPed with several guests are advised to sort your groups before arrival.
Opposition supporters are categorically not welcome. Clery's is a short walk away.
The heated patio will be open, but the forecast calls for 37º and windy during the match so bundle up!
To be clear, we’re not trying to scare anyone off from coming. Quite the opposite, in fact: we want to make sure that everyone wanting to watch this match can, whether with us or otherwise. Ultimately, this is an exciting time and a great problem to have.
BG and Dillon’s apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
