Arsenal head to The Toilet Bowl with renewed confidence under interim manager Renee Slegers. After a turbulent start to the season led to Jonas Eidevall’s departure, the Gunners have stabilised, climbing to fourth in the table, one point out of the Champions League places. They’re on a solid run of form, winning three and drawing one in all competitions since Slegers took over, highlighted by an impressive 5-0 win over Brighton at the Emirates last weekend. While the injury list is currently short for the Gunners, they'll be looking to extend their newly-found consistency, especially on offense.
Tottenham, meanwhile, sit seventh in the table and have hit a rough patch, with one win and four losses in their last five WSL games. Despite their struggles, Sp*rs will remember their surprise 1-0 victory in this fixture last season– their only win against Arsenal, who have otherwise dominated this rivalry with 12 wins and three draws in all competitions. That rare loss will fuel both Tottenham’s hope and Arsenal’s determination to reclaim bragging rights. Sp*rs face a few injury concerns that may impact their starting lineup, but they’ll aim nevertheless to disrupt Arsenal’s momentum in front of their home crowd.
