UCL: Club Brugge v Arsenal

Belgium anyone?

Champions League-leading Arsenal visit Club Brugge on Wednesday evening, who currently sit 26^th in the table. Mikel Arteta’s side suffered a rare defeat at the weekend and will hope to put things right. Brugge have been uninspiring in Europe, losing three of their last five in the competition.

One man to watch for Brugges is Carlos Forbs. Formerly of Wolves, Forbs managed to score two against Barcelona recently. For a Belgium team largely expected to sit in and counter, a winger like Forbs will be key to their hope of a result. Raphael Onyedika will bring the creativity in midfield.

Arsenal have won all their matches in UCL this season, most recently beating Bayern Munich. Though their run of 18 matches unbeaten was broken on Saturday, they remain unbeaten in Europe, only conceding one goal across all matches so far. Fans will be hoping for some rotation to key players who have played a lot of minutes. It will be a tricky game to rotate, but the manager will need to do what he can. In a game where Arsenal will have a lot of the ball, Martin Zubimendi will be key. And up front, Viktor Gyökeres will be hoping to start at striker.
