However, the Boeren have seen significant changes since then, with stars Cody Gakpo and Xavi Simons both having moved on. Nevertheless, the Dutch side have enjoyed a fast start and sit top of the Eredivisie with a perfect 4-0-0 record.
Our boys come off Sunday’s win over Everton– their first at Goodison Park since 2017– with some questions about injuries and selection. Gabriel Martinelli left the win on Merseyside early with an apparent hamstring injury, while David Raya made a solid debut amid plenty of media chatter.
