Bounce Back
Arsenal visit Leeds United on Saturday looking to refocus. Without a win in their last three in the league, their lead at the top has been reduced to four points. Leeds have been in good form, with three draws in their last five, as well as one win. Daniel Farke’s side have risen to sixteenth. The reverse fixture saw Arsenal win 5-0, but The Gunners can expect a much tougher test away from home.
Leeds have suffered just two Premier League losses at Elland Road this season and have gone unbeaten in five since that 2-1 reverse to Aston Villa in November. They have scored in 10 of their 11 top-flight games on their own turf in 2025-26.h with a decent gap to the drop zone. Dominic Calvert-Lewin will lead the line for Leeds, while Ethan Ampadu will hold their compact 3-5-2 together from midfield.
Mikel Arteta has seen his side’s attack falter in recent weeks. While there have been better showings in the cups, on the domestic front, the lack of threat has caused many outside the club to question Arsenal’s title credentials. A trip to Leeds against a stubborn defense will not likely be a free scoring tonic. That being said, for Arsenal to get back on track, the likes of Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, and Martin Ødegaard must start firing or else it could be another season of almost.
Can Arsenal get their attack to fire them to three points? Or will Arsenal suffer another disappointing result? We’ll be at Dillon’s on Saturday morning to cheer them on either way. Hope to see you there!
