The first week of the Premier League saw The Arsenal start a second straight season with a deserved, if frustrating, win over a lower-table team. Unfortunately, the first week came with a second injury blow of the young season with new signing Jurrien Timber suffering a significant knee injury.
Now, the Gunners head a few clicks south for the season’s first London derby at Crystal Palace. The Eagles were also victorious to start the season, seeing out a 1-0 win over Sheffield United in Yorkshire. Arsenal took both matches from Palace a season ago on their way to winning 10 of 12 London derbies. This season’s first derby in the capital is a tough test as all trips to Selhurst Park tend to be.
