If only every match was as easy as last week...
While we'll hold out hope for another 6-0, it's fair to expect a much tougher test from Vincent Kompany's Burnley on Saturday. A trip to Turf Moor awaits Arsenal, and despite being placed 19th, a visit to The Clarets can never be taken for granted. Kompany's men deserve praise for their commitment to the principles which gained them promotion from the Championship last year. Unfortunately, a transition from Sean Dyche-ball to a more attacking style comes with its growing pains. Burnley are a young side, full of energy, who proved to be a stubborn opponent in our previous fixture. That being said, they are winless in their last five, most recently losing 3-1 to Liverpool at Anfield.
Arsenal, on the other hand, are flying high. Since the start of the calendar year, they have won their four PL matches and outscored opponents 16-2. Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, and Big Gabby have grabbed most of the headlines with their stellar displays, while Martin Ødegaard has been unbelievable since the break in Dubai. With their Champions League knockout tie against Porto on the horizon, Arsenal will first need full focus to avoid a banana skin at Burnley. While last week's absentees appear to remain missing, Tomiyasu is expected to return to the squad, which will provide cover across the back line.
