PL: Arsenal v Leeds United

One down, thirty-seven to go...

Arsenal started the season with a professional 1-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford. While the performance wasn't the best, the resolve was there. United away has always been a bit of a hoodoo fixture for the Gunners, and there were positives to take from the match. Next up is the Emirates opener against Leeds United. Home to a newly-promoted side, Arsenal will know what they need to do and be expecting another victory. Riccardo Calafiori, David Raya, Martin Ødegaard, and Martin Zubimendi will all look to build on their positive performances last time out. Mikel Arteta will be expecting more consistency from others, though. And everyone's watching to see if Big Vik will break his duck.

Newly-returned Leeds United face an uphill battle this season to avoid the yo-yo back to the Championship. Although the Yorkshire side were the better side in their Monday night opener against Everton, it took an 84th-minute penalty to secure a 1-0 victory. No stranger himself to the Premier League, Daniel Farke's side have had a busy summer as well, with new signings Sean Longstaff, Gabriel Gudmondssen, and Anton Stach all expected to be regular starters. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has also joined on a free transfer.
