PL: Arsenal v Crystal Palace

Keep Going. Following a mid-week thumping of Atletico de Madrid, Arsenal continue their league campaign as they host Crystal Palace on Sunday. Winners of their past six across all competitions, Mikel Arteta’s side sit atop the table. Crystal Palace, despite an outstanding start to the season, find themselves eighth, with two wins, two draws, and a loss in their last five league games.

Oliver Glasner will come into the match full of confidence. The FA Cup Holders earned a 2-2 draw from their visit to the Emirates in the spring. With Ismaila Saar, Jean-Philippe Mateta, and Adam Wharton, Palace certainly have players to hurt Arsenal. At the back, Marc Guehi marshals a stubborn defense.

Speaking of stubborn defenses, well, Arsenal may have the most stubborn. Through twelve matches in all competitions, they have conceded just three goals. In their past three matches, they have only let up one shot on target. But we all know to win the title, draws aren’t good enough. The Gunners will need to put the ball in the net. Luckily, Bukayo Saka has been on fire. Let’s hope it continues.
