The last time we were here, we were saying goodbye to an Arsenal season of restoration, elation, and a distinct feeling of an opportunity lost. Now, we’re ready again to embark upon another yet another one, Boston Gooners’ 14th and third calling Dillon’s home. The Gunners continue their preseason with their first of three games Stateside, taking on the Wayne Rooney-managed MLS All-Stars at Audi Field, home of DC United, in Washington, D.C. at 8:30 p.m. The Arsenal last played MLS’ best XI in 2016, a 2-1 win in San Jose featuring goals from Joel Campbell and Chuba Akpom. Of course, Montreal Impact legend and eternal Arsenal nemesis Didier Drogba had to get one for the home side. It wouldn’t have been right otherwise.
If you can't be there, the next best thing is to catch up with your fellow Gooners at Dillon's as The Arsenal continue their preseason against Carles Gil, Djordje Petrović...and some other guys from MLS.
